Spelling Like It Is by Tori Spelling, 302 pages
Spelling Like It Is is Tori Spelling's fifth adult nonfiction book. I have read all her books. I am not a big Tori Spelling fan, but I am a fan of celebrity biographies. Her books are always entertaining and quick reads. I felt like this book was just a quick way for her to make some money to support her ever growing family. Tori now has four kids and many pets. She writes about her two most recent pregnancies and goes in great detail with the fourth pregnancy which almost cost her and her baby Finn's life. There is also a lot of trips to the hospital. I will say Tori Spelling does lead an interesting life.

A Guide to Being Born: Stories, by Ramona Ausubel, 200 pages
A Guide to Being Born: Stories, by Ramona Ausubel, 200 pages
These short stories were all beautifully written, with the exception of one that involved a pet getting hit by a car and I had to skim right over. They aren't really about birth or women (first impression), but more about the beauty of life, in general.
