Jasper Fforde is a very imaginative writer, and while the Thursday Next series is my favorite series, The Big Over Easy is my favorite book by him overall. I listen to the audiobook which is narrated by Simon Prebble, and it is a joy. No matter how many times I listen to the book, it never fails to make me laugh. I luxuriate in the absurdity. I cannot recommend it highly enough.
