Goldilocks and the Three Dinosaurs by Mo Willems

Goldilocks and the Three Dinosaurs - 40 pages

Mo Willems

Summary (From Goodreads)

Once upon a time, there were three hungry Dinosaurs: Papa Dinosaur, Mama Dinosaur . . . and a Dinosaur who happened to be visiting from Norway.

One day--for no particular reason--they decided to tidy up their house, make the beds, and prepare pudding of varying temperatures. And then--for no particular reason--they decided to go...someplace else. They were definitely NOT setting a trap for some succulent, unsupervised little girl.

Definitely not!

Review

This was a delightful and funny retelling of a classic fairy tale!  I'd recommend this to anyone who likes humorous, subversive takes on old favorites.

Be the Bus by Mo Willems

Be the Bus: The Lost & Profound Wisdom of The Pigeon as told to Mo Willems - 76 pages

This is a collection of "sayings" by Pigeon. I found the book to be laugh out loud funny.  I especially liked his expanded rant on how apples and oranges can be compared and why.  I would definitely recommend this to fans of Mo Willem's Pigeon.

The Pigeon Will Ride the Roller Coaster by Mo Willems

40 pages

"Buckle up for twists, turns, and emotional loop-de-loops in the most roller coaster-y Pigeon book ever! The Pigeon WILL be ready. Will YOU!?"  --from the publisher

Very cute, but not brilliant like so many of Willems' other books. I give it three out of five stars.
