Fury of the Seventh Son by Joseph Delaney

Fury of the Seventh Son
By Joseph Delaney
The Last Apprentice
Book 13
462 pages

This is it, the end of a great series. The ending could have been a little stronger but I was pleased with how well this wrapped up. From what I have read Joseph Delaney is starting a new trilogy with Tom that I am quite anxious to get a hold of.

Now the time has come to fight alone in Joseph Delaney's new series that continues the story of Tom Ward. Although his apprenticeship was not finished, Tom feels prepared to be the new county Spook. Find out how he fares by reading "A New Darkness".

This is the 12th book in the Last Apprentice series and it focuses on the character Alice Deane, best friend--and true love--of Tom Ward.

She may one day be the most evil. Together they work to defeat the Fiend -the world's greatest evil- once and for all. They have nearly everything they need, all except a blade hidden in the Dark, the Fiend's domain. So Alice ventures there to find it. She faces the most terrifying creatures in existence. And she once again battles old enemies who bear grudges: Bony Lizzie, Bloodeye, and more.

And there's something Tom didn't tell her. To vanquish the Fiend, Tom must sacrifice the person he loves most. Alice is hunting for the very blade that will eventually kill her.

Rage of the Fallen by Joseph Delaney

The Last Apprentice
Rage of the Fallen
By Joseph Delaney
Book 8
396 pages

Tom, Alice and the Spook have been forced to seek exile in Ireland due to the hostile takeover of their beloved County. Tom is very nervous because he was warned against going to Ireland by the Celtic witch that he and Bill Arkwright slew in "The Wrath of the Bloodeye".
Another fine addition to the series. I'm not going to say much more since anyone who hasn't read the book yet will encounter spoilers.
