This was a fun, easy read. While Gabriel is the one with military training, Lolly is no shrinking violet. It was nice to see a real partnership with them relying on each other to survive a horrible situation instead of the helpless female being saved by the big, tough man.

I'm a big Suzanne Brockmann fan. Most of her books are about Special Forces operators or ex-military contractors. The Troubleshooters and Talk, Dark, and Dangerous series are some of my favorite books. This book was a stand-alone, and while I enjoyed it, it wasn't one of my favorite Suzanne Brockmann novels.
