I listened to this book on audio. Unfortunately, it lost quite a bit in the change in format. This was an unfinished manuscript of Dr. Seuss that was found after his death. It is the story and then several pages of notes about the different horse artwork included. I was not impressed with the story itself. However, I did find the notes about the different artwork interesting. (The audio also did a good job of describing the artwork since you can't see it while listening.)
Overall, I probably would not recommend this book other than to hardcore adult Dr. Seuss fans. I do not think children would really be interested in this book.
