Against the Wind by Amanda Cabot 352 pages
Ready to leave town and start her life as a doctor-in-training, Louisa Vaughn finds herself stuck in Sweetwater Crossing saving a handsome stranger's life. Little does she know that he'll bring both love and danger into her life.
This is the second book in this series, so I enjoyed reading where the first book left off and hearing about all the characters. I love Historical Fiction so that appealed to me. I did think the author drug out the storyline way too long. It was a good story, but could have been finished up about 4 chapters earlier instead of dragging it out.
