Party Games by R.L. Stine

Party Games by R.L. Stine, 277 pages

When Rachel is unexpectedly invited to Brendan Fear's exclusive birthday party on Fear Island, she agrees to go, despite the warnings of her best friend. Promises of the best party games has all the guests buzzing--until someone decides to start a game of murder.

As an avid Fear Street reader in my youth, I was keenly excited to hear about the relaunching of the series. This is the second or third that I've read, and while I enjoy how the mythos has evolved beyond Fear Street itself (the Fear family timeline, Fear Island, etc.), Party Games was a toothless disappointment.
