Shakespeare's Counselor by Charlaine Harris, 330 pages
Tragedy strikes Shakespeare, Arkansas once again: a woman is being stalked and people around her are dying. Lily Bard, now a PI-in-training, navigates the case while going through a personal crisis of her own. Once the case is cracked, Lily finds herself shining the light of revelation through her past and into her future.
This book marked a sort of turn in the series. We see Lily's immense progress towards processing her trauma, and the (relative) normalization of her relationship with Jack. The mystery storyline was entertaining, but a little more transparent than the others so far in the series.
