I've seen this series on a lot of fantasy series lists so I thought I'd finally give it a try. It was just too slow for me. I know a book isn't doing anything for me when I don't pick it up to read it the first chance I get, and I stopped reading this one altogether for a while, but came back and finished it. I do think there is a great audience out there for this. I don't mind a slow burn, but there's gotta be enough in there to keep me interested, and there just wasn't. I doubt I'll go on with this series.
