Murder Past Due by Miranda James, 294 pages
Godfrey Priest returns to his hometown of Athena, Georgia, a rich and successful author. The next day, he is murdered. Librarian Charlie Harris and his infamous Maine Coon Diesel are on the case, and there is no shortage of suspects in the sleepy town.
This book was a fun read, the definition of a cozy murder. I look forward to reading the rest of the series.
Note: Miranda James is a penname for author Dean James.
