Mrs. Everything is the story of two sisters, Jo and Bethie, spanning from the 1950s to present day.
Jo and Bethie have very different personalities, and as young girls, have very different goals for their lives. But, as we all know, your life plans don't always go as expected. As the girls grow older, you are with them through both the mundane parts of life, and their triumphs and pitfalls as they turn into women. Both face the consequences of their life choices, and deal with the realites that are thrust upon them.
Jennifer Weiner completely absorbs you into Jo and Bethie's lives, and I didn't want this book to end. I buddy-read this with a friend, and we talked about it for hours - we both loved it!
