Real Life Organizing: Clean and Clutter Free in 15 Minutes a Day

Real Life Organizing: Clean and Clutter Free in 15 Minutes a Day by Cassandra Aarssen 204 pages

Cassandra started out as a pretty messy person but after the birth of her first child, she decides to stay home with her and run a daycare out of her home. This forces Cassandra to become more organized so she didn't lose her mind, this sent her down a rabbit whole of reading every organization book she could get her hands on and watching shows like "clean sweep." Eventually she tidied every spot in her home, until she moved on to friends and families homes. Then she took her expertise to Youtube and started working for clients and is now a successful author.

I read a lot of organizing books (it's a weird hobby, I know) but this is one of those that will stand out from the crowd. The authors writing style has a lot of humor which I appreciate. She also just feels very relatable. She lives in a raised ranch home that she is DIY-ing while she dreams of her Pinterest worth renovation. She also gets a lot of her containers and bins from the dollar tree ("I would rather spend my money on what goes INSIDE the containers than the containers themselves"). After just reading "The Home Edit Life," that suggests spending $200+ on clear plastic containers from the Container Store to organize a pantry, I really appreciate a professional organizer that gives advice that everyone can use.
