When I was growing up, this was one of my favorite books. It is a great story, that is funny, and easy to read. Now, I have read this book to my children and it is a favorite of theirs too. The illustrations are as humorous and the 100 words are perfect for any beginning reader to pick up. They are woven in to a funny story that helps define the words as well to build additional comprehension. All in all, it's fun and informative all at the same time!
