As the town of Greenwich, CT is getting ready for a spooky celebration on October 31, Harriet Bloom (the assistant to the headmaster of Howard Academy) finds herself being accused of murdering her harmless elderly neighbor with her famous marshmallow puffs. Melanie Travis with her standard poodle by her side decide to help clear Harriet's name. While Melanie is sorting through clues to find a killer, she also helps a shy child come out of his shell with the love of her dog Faith.
