Andy Carpenter's wife, Laurie, was a cop but now she is raising their son, Ricky and helping out with Andy's cases. She has been wanting to get back to investigating and when her old partner and his K-9 German Shepard come to her with a suggestion, she is all in.
This was a new David Rosenfelt series and it was just ok.
