Big Magic

Big Magic by Elizabeth Gilbert 288 pages
Big Magic: Creative Living Beyond Fear
Embrace your creativity and don't worry about what the world has to say. You probably will get rejected, multiple times, but do it anyway, because you love it and that is all that matters. Sometimes, if you marry your creativity and stay committed to it, big magic just might happen.

I wanted to like this book so bad. Some of it was inspiring I will say that, but most of it was just a big eye roll for me. It read mostly like an autobiography about Gilbert's writing career and you can tell that she really really wanted to tell the story about herself. Also, in the first couple chapters it will have you believing the big magic can be things such as finally taking ice skating lessons if you always wanted to and not caring what others thing. However, most of all the advise and information pertains strictly to writers.
