This book follows a 96 year old woman named Dorris. She lives a quiet simple life now, looking forward to her skype calls with her grandniece, Jenny, who is her only relative. Dorris has kept a red address book since her youth of the people she has known and loved. There are a lot of named now scratched out. As she goes through her book, it tells the story of the extraordinary life she lived. Will she be be able to help Jenny? Will she be able to stop looking in the past and start looking forwards?
I really did enjoy this book, the ending was quite powerful.
