Parkland by Dave Cullen, 383 pages
I read Columbine by Dave Cullen and found the book very interesting, but Parkland, not so much so. At the beginning of the book, he says he is not going to mention the killer or write about him. But, in Columbine, if I remember it correctly, he details the shooters and their lives and how they planned the attack. In Columbine, he also describes in great detail what happened that day. But, Parkland was written completely different. This book is about the survivors and how they started the March for Our Lives. Also, the book details the students fight with Congressional leaders on the fight against the NRA. And, how it will never happen again. I admire these students and their drive to push for gun control. This book should be a huge wake up call to America.
