The Bookshop of Yesterdays

The story begins when the main character, Miranda, receives a mysterious note and package.  Then she suddenly hears the news of her beloved uncle's passing.  She is called back She discovers that he has set up a literary scavenger hunt, revealing bits of her history - a history that is a complete surprise to her.  Returning to her hometown, Miranda reconnects with her best friend and also befriends a new group of people, creating a family of sorts.

While this book is rich in literary references and should delight any true reader, ultimately, this book was more about relationships, acceptance, forgiveness and moving forward.
