The Phantom Tollbooth by Norton Juster, Illustrated by Jules Feiffer, 256 pages
I know I owned this book as I child, but I could not remember if I had read it. I also thought I heard they were making this into a movie. I really enjoyed reading Phantom Tollbooth. The book is about a boy named Milo who goes on an adventure in a little car through the Phantom Tollbooth. Along the way he meets Tock the dog and Humbug the man. The adventure leads them through Dictionapolis and Mathemagician to find Rhyme and Reason who are in a faraway land. It kind of reminded me of Alice in Wonderland. The drawings in this book are fantastic and only add to the story. What a great read!!
