Revolutionary War on Wednesday by Mary Pope Osborne-69 pages
Again, I actually read the newest edition of this book, but the page count and content are no different. I like this book a bit better than Civil War on Sunday because I feel that it is less generalized in its portrayal of the war. Jack and Annie are whisked back to Revolutionary War times in America and cross the Delaware with George Washington. I really like that Osborne takes readers back in time to pivotal, major events in history, both World and American. Overall, I am still enjoying reading this series again. *On a side note: The painting that the cover illustration is based on was completed many years after the Revolutionary War ended and Washington crossed the Delaware River, so it probably is not all that accurate.
