This is the latest in the Detective Michael Bennet series. In this current novel, New York Detective, Michael Bennett's oldest son has gone to jail for selling drugs. Trying to distract the family from this situation, Michael takes his entire family to Maine for summer vacation. But, on what is suppose to be a relaxing vacation, it turns into a working vacation when murder and drug dealing are going on. With the title Haunted, I thought it would be more about Halloween, but it only eluded to a brief mention of the house they are renting possibly being haunted.
