Midnight, Texas series #1
Midnight, Texas is a tiny town with just a few residents. It's a great place for those with a past or those who don't like questions. New resident Manfred has just moved to town when a body is found. It's the missing girlfriend of pawnshop owner Bobo. Turns out she had been lying about her past. Now her past, Bobo's past, and the pasts of the other residents will come together to create problems for all of the town.
I picked up this book as I started watching the television show and enjoyed it. I thought I would give the books a try. There are a lot of similarities between the book and the show, but also a lot of differences. I am kind of wondering if they combined the plots of all three of the books into the one season of the show. I guess I'll find out as I read the rest of the series.
