Fourteen year old Maximum Ride and her flock: Fang, Iggy, Nudge, Gasman and Angel are living peacefully in Colorado until Angel is kidnapped by the mysterious lab known as the "School." The "School" has taken the Flocks' genetic codes and spliced them with avian DNA to give them wings and the power to fly. Maximum Ride and the others must now soar above the earth to save Angel. Can they do it?
