Alice North has been on the run from her vindictive former mother-in-law for over a year when she meets Sebastian Drake. He's come to ask for her help recovering some missing crystals that he believes are affecting the weather on Rainshadow Island. She agrees to help him when he offers to deal with her mother-in-law for her. But when they land on Rainshadow Island they discover the problem is worse than they thought.
I listened to this on audio. It was pretty well done. Another enjoyable futuristic paranormal romance from Jayne Castle.
