learn their lesson when they arrive at a picnic and promise to everyone that

I think this book has a good
premise but the executuion was way off the text is shaped in the form of
buildings and is terribly hard to read, but the original concept of incorporating
actual architecture was great concept.

Originally a building block
nominee. This story is a dogs story and depicts him and his antics in almost
human way as he tried to get into the car when the owner says they will go for
a walk.

night to have fun at the park while parents sleep. The rhymes are adorable and
the illustrations of kids reading mountains of book will inspire young readers.

I little kitten is loose in the castle and but trails a princess and
readers with a bright string of pink yarn until the very end when readers learn
that the little kitten was not running away at all but simply looking for its
momma.

This book reminds me a lot of the David Shannon books with the art and
simple text. A little boy shows readers all the things he can do and readers
will laugh at all of his attmepts.

This was just an odd rhyming book with even worse illustrations….The
pictures and people just had a bizarre look and there was really no storyline.

This is the perfect picture book to show how germs sprad…When Simon goes
to school his germs get everywhere and everyone else gets sick and cannot come
to school. Simon realizes he does not
want to be at school without his frineds.

This book is perfect if a little one just got a new bike and looking

wonder what will happen when it melts….the town will be flooded so a descion is
made that Snowzilla can be saved as long as it is moved.

member who is small enough to go out in the snow without sinking…and so goes a
little boy all over town to each house to get their supplies from the store and
when he finally gets back after 4 days of being inside the plows finally ariive

This simple picture book talks about the beginnings of a garden and all
that goes into growing it through the summer. My favorite part is the the mini
colored pages that get larger and larger as the story unfolds.
If You Were a Dog by Jamie Swenson 40
I was hoping for more from this book, the story takes the reader through
a variety of animals and their actions, I though the text got wordy and some of
the pages would rhyme while the others seemed forced or made no sense at all.
Scoobie Doo and the Movie Star Mystery by Karl Sturk 32
When the envelopes go missing at the movie awards the gang is there to
take matters into their own hands and follow the clues to find that the
perpetrator was actually one of the guests in attendance who wanted to make
sure they would win top spot.
The Bear Came Over To My House by Rick Walton 32
This cute book is about a bear that comes to visit and with each
following page the bear is into or doing seomthign that rhymes and corresponds
with the previous opage. This was a building block award winner, it was cute
but It was not one of my favorites.
Rainbow Stew by CAthryn Falwell 32
The Kids are excited to visit grandpa and until it starts to rain, then
he suggest they make rainbow stew, with rain gear on the kids head out to the
garden to get fresh ingriedinets to head back and in and start making the soup.
I love any book that includes a recipe in the back pages!
Time to Sleep by Denise Fleming 32
When the animals learn that it is time to sleep they go from one another
to let each of them know it is time to go away and sleep and things go so full
circle that at the end Bear is awoken from his sleep in the cave only to be
told that he needs to go back to sleep for the winter.
Bear Snores On by Karma Wilson 32
Bear is sleeping in his cave, but as it gets colder friends start to
enter to stay warm, and those friends make themselves right at home while bears
sleeps on…until he awakens and realizes he has missed all the fun…he then joins
in to find that all of his friends are snoring on.
Grumpy Groundhog by Maureen Wright 32
Ground hog does not want to get up and out for his big day! So the
townspeople and mayor come and meet all his wishes until he finally agrees to
come out and play…so that spring can come early.
What Brothers/Sisters Do Best by Laura Numberoff 40
An upside down book that features
sisters and their antic on one half of the book and brothers on the other. A
bit disappointing the text was the same on each side of the book but the illustrations were different.
Bear Sees Colors by Karma Wilson 32
Another addition to the popular bear series this time featuring colors,
the rhyming coulets take readers through the main colors and saving the best
for last…Brown, for bear..and other desserts.
Have you seen My Dragon by Steve Light 48
Black and white drawings with a splash of color on each pages as a boy
seeks out his dragon in the city. Kids will love counting the colored items,
and pointing out the dragon on each page.

This book was great it documents and follows parents through different
stages of partnethood and talks about the rtrials and tribulations facing
parents today. It really emphasizes the current cultivation of childhood and
weather or not it is beneficial for kids today.

Pig just wants to sleep but his barnyard friends will not be quiet after
hiding in the mud he finally joins in the party fun.
The Fly Flew in By David CAtrow32
A fly flies into an opera causing
a stir with the musicans and audience members and it would seem he is the star
of the show until he makes his way out the exit door after causing all the
commotion that he could.
Daniel Goes Out for Dinner by Maggie Testa 32
Daniel goes out for dinner and learns that he must be patient waiting for
his food, kids will learn some cute waitng games they can play with their own
families while waitng on diiner while out with their families.
Horses and Ponies by Beth Toroll 24
A boy takes hi horse to the fair and the horse is so excited to see all
the other horses that are at the fair,
young readers will learn about different types of ponies and be thrilled
for the young boy when his horse wins the quarter horse competiton.

A Simple picture book that seems to be written more for adults athan
children , as the message is passed on from one to the next the wrods get
completey twisited and seem more amusing to adults than they would be to kids.

When Charley has a loose tooth he goes to the dentist and he reassures
him that the tooth will come out when it is ready, and of course it does.
Be Patient, Maddie by Molly Smith 16
When Maddie finally finds an activity and can do it while she is waiting
for her dad, she ends up being the one telling her dad to be patient because
she is busy with her own activity.
Clifford and the Big Parade by Norman Bridwell 32
In this book Clifford is not only in the parade, but he saves the parade
when the marchers get to the spot where the bridge is not down, Clifford jumps
in to save the day.
Don’t Worry Mason by Molly Smith 16
Mason learns that he should not worry so much, when his teacher helps him
to find answers and resources to his simple problems.
Catch That Cookie by Hallie Durand 32
The kids bake gingerbread cookies but when they go to get them out they
realize that the gingerbread men have already escaped! The class goes on a wild
chase through the school but ends up finding them all in the gym.
The Big Wide Mouthed Frog by Ana Martin Larranaga 22
Based on folktale a frog goes around taunting animals about how he will
eat them, until he gets to Gator who will eat him, only then is the frog quiet
about his wide mouth and on the run !

how the human race needs to make a shift inward about our being instead of holding
so tightly to all our outwardly possessions. This book reminds me of his other
book the Power of Now…and this book too is about embracing the moment and not letting your past or future define
you.

This simple picture book follows a book of three as they try and chase a
bird, on the count of three everytime their loudness alerts the bird who of
course gets away. With No bird in the th e end they switch their plan to trying
to catch a squirrel , A sequel maybe?

transportation enthusiast or for a young child who is getting ready to go on

Big pictures describing all different animal babies and the things they
do. Not your typical zoo animals here…a few that you don’t often see and a
coulple of nonfiction pages in the back to give readers more details.

Bunny wants to runway but momma is close after. This classic story
chroncles bunny as he changes his mind and self to different things to get away
but his momma is ever changing and always on his heels.

The companion reader to good night moon, this book is cute with the
vibrant colors, but as much as I have red this books I still could not tell you
what the theme or storyline is…I guess that is poetry for ya?

When a big Snow comes to Geopolis the ony plow big enough and strong
enough to save the town is Katy with her plow. Slowly as emergencies come I,
Katy makes her way across the entore town until everyone has been taken care
of.
Five Monkeys Jumping on The Bed by Eileen Christelow 40
Counting book about mokeys jumping on the bed…These monkeys are not good
listeners or very insightful, you would think that after they see their
siblings keep falling off the bed and hurting themselves they would uit…but
nope…All the monkeys fall, hurt themselves…and only then can mom go to bed.

Alphabet book with plenty of pictures to capture the essence of Hello
Kitty in her fiel of work. Lots of
different careers and the bright pictures make this title for little one to
pick out and identify different items.
