Olivia has just moved into another new apartment building. This one is stranger than most that her father has worked in. One strange afternoon she meets several of her neighbors including the former servant to a princess, a Siren, a murderous pirate, and a medium. And that's just the beginning of the adventures.
This was a fun chapter book for elementary school kids. It had just enough thrills to be exciting without being scary. It had a lot of plot twists and adventures that might even interest boy readers.
