Sugar Pop Moon by John Florid - 215 pages
Set in Prohibition-era Hell’s Kitchen, albino bartender Jersey Leo, gets
into serious trouble when he buys counterfeit Sugar Pop Moon. As he tries to remedy his mistake, he
encounters the wrath of his gangster boss, threatens on his life by
Philadelphia gangsters, reunites with his father and gets his best friend killed. Still, in that violent time he was trying to
right a wrong according to his moral code. Too violent for me.
