I first read The Little Prince when I was in high school French class. I read it in French, and sometimes, I feel this is just as confusing in English. A pilot crashes his plane in the Sahara Desert. The pilot encounters the little prince who has left his planet in search of the meaning of life. He leaves behind his flower on his planet that is quite conceited. On his journey, he encounters many men and animals. But, his demise comes when he encounters the snake. The Little Prince is a sad story, even for adults.
