Princess Pink and the Land of Fake-Believe - Book 1
Princess Pink (first name Princess, last name Pink) falls through her refrigerator into the land of Fake-Believe where well-known fairy tales and nursery rhymes are just slightly off. She meets Mother Moose and Moldylocks. Princess Pink and Moldlylocks go to visit the house of the Three Beards where Moldylocks is captured. It is up to Princess Pink to rescue her new friend.
This book was getting a lot of requests after being heavily pushed through the spring Scholastic School Fairs. It is a simple chapter book for kids in 1st-2nd grade. I believe the series is going to continue with Princess Pink interacting with other well known characters in fractured fairy tales. I wasn't hugely impressed with the book itself. The one thing I did like was the final page that had discussion questions and literacy extension activities for those who read the book.
