Sheriff Walt Longmire is asked by his hold mentor to look into a suspicious death that happened in the next county. Walt has no jurisdiction there but takes the case on as a favor. Things are further complicated in that Walt is on the clock because his daughter is due to give birth in Philadelphia and Walt is to be there come hell or high water. His investigation into the death unearths a web of deceit putting young women in danger and eventually himself. Another solid entry into this popular series.
