Mercy Thompson Series Book 8
This is one of the better urban fantasy series out there. Briggs is consistent in her mythos and world building and doesn't fall into rehashing the same plot points over and over. This book finds Mercy's relationship with her husband Adam facing a new challenge when his ex-wife returns seeking sanctuary from an abusive boyfriend. These books read like movies and are extremely action packed.
