Marcella comes home from school and teaches her toys how to read using the methods she had been taught.  After she goes outside to play, Raggedy Ann takes over and teaches the toys the same way.  The next day, Marcella comes home and demonstrates reading a book in the same way the librarian did earlier in the day during story time.  Plus the setting is the nursery, which includes a small library.
