In this guidebook, there are a lot of neat hairstyles.  In addition to braids, buns, and twists it covers multiple types of pony tails and something called bouffants.  Most of the pony tail styles seemed simple, but most of everything else was more complicated.  On the dozen or so non-pony tail and basic braid styles I tried, I only had success once.  I don't know if that is because the instructions were bad or if it is because I'm simply not good at hair-styling.  That said, besides photos and instructions of the hair styles it does provide step-by-step diagrams as well.
