Biscuit Loves the Library by Alyssa Satin Capucilli - 19 pages
In this cute, short story Biscuit and his owner visit the library on a day when young patrons are to bring a pet to read to. First, the look for a book, then they find a spot to sit and read. The use of the phrase "woof, woof" to end every page gives young readers a familiar word to say aloud. Also, the illustrations were cute. I like how it is based on a real program many libraries and school have to encourage children to read.
