Killer by Jonathan Kellerman

Killer by Jonathan Kellerman - 352 pages
#29 in the Alex Delaware series

Psychologist Alex Delaware is called on to make a court ordered assessment during a bitter child custody dispute between two sisters.  This dispute leads to murder and attempted murders left and right.  The characters in this series are getting a little stale since I've spent so much time with them and they don't develop as people very much.  I really wish Robin (Alex's girlfriend) would get fleshed out into more than just an accessory and someone for Alex to talk to at home for further exposition.  Alex comes across as suffering from mild depression in this book which makes for a gloomy reading experience.
