The Tortoise and the Hare by Graham Percy, 32 pages
In this classic tale, children are taught the moral that a slow and steady pace sometimes is the best. I love Aesop's classic fables. Fables are short and sometimes funny stories that teach the reader a moral. Aesop's fables have given us some classic phrases such as "sour grapes" and "Don't count your chickens before they're hatched." I did not know this before reading this book. As an adult, I always remembered this classic tale, but it is funny, I never recalled who had won. Do you?
