Takedown Twenty by Janet Evanovich - 320 pages
The 20th installment of the Stephanie Plum series is more of this same which is both a good and a bad thing. On the good front, it has tons of fun escapades with the wild side characters like Lula and Grandma Mazur. On the bad front, Stephanie is still a damsel in distress way too often that needs to be rescued by the men in her life, Ranger and Morelli. I still like the characters enough to continue with the franchise but I hope that there is some overall progress in Stephanie's character development and decision making in her love life. On the plus side there is a rogue giraffe in this book which is new.
