UnWholly by Neal Shusterman- 416 pgs.
UnWholly follows the story where UnWind started: America has been through its second civil war: this time over abortion. A compromise was reached where the sanctity of life was covered from conception until the age of 13. After age 13, parents can have their children"unwound" or have them harvested for organs and limbs. UnWind followed Connor, Risa and Lev going AWOL from their unwindings and UnWholly continues their story. Added to the mix is Cam, who is an amalgamation of 100 unwinds. The book delves deeper into the organizations that are offering resistance and those that work for the government. I loved UnWind and loved UnWholly just as much and I can't wait to read UnSouled.
