The Ocean at the End of the Lane-Neil Gaiman

The Ocean at the End of the Lane by Neil Gaiman- 181 pgs.

Set in the English country side, a man returns home for a funeral and finds himself drawn to the place where his childhood home used to be.  Following the lane until it ends at a pond, the man is hit with memories from a particular time in his childhood. To say anymore than that would take away from the story. This is only the second book I've read by Gaiman and he does have the touch for creating worlds that seem like they could exist right outside of our awareness.  It was a short read and one that was pretty enjoyable to read.
