Roan dreams one day of leaving Tatooine to go to the Pilot Academy like his father and older brother, but that destiny is not for him. Roan is selected to attend the Jedi Academy even though he is way older than their usual toddler selections. The hilarious tale of Roan's first year is told through journal entries, drawings and snarky commentary. Brown doesn't take the Star Wars mythology too seriously but does stay true to the characters. This is a great quick read for both adults and kids who like Star Wars.
