The Secret Diaires of Miss Miranda Cheever by Julia Quinn

The Secret Diaries of Miss Miranda Cheever by Julia Quinn - 373 pages

Miranda has been in love with her best friend's older brother Tucker since she was 10 years old.  Ten years later that secret love is still strong.  The only problem is that Tucker is unaware of that love.  However, he is starting to feel an attraction for her.  The problem is that he believes himself to be completely emotionless after the his first wife.
I enjoyed this book.  It was a very humorous historical romance - which is surprising considering some of the turns the story takes.  I also found it unusual that there was a premarital pregnancy by the main character in a historical romance.  Usually the heroines in those books would never have that happen.
