Star Wars: Kenobi by John Jackson Miller - 400 pages
This is the story of Obi-Wan Kenobi's arrival on Tatooine with the infant Luke after the initial rise of the Empire and the destruction of the Jedi order. It reads like a western and for the most part the story is told through the eyes of the characters other than Kenobi so his overall mystique is maintained. There is scarce resource rustling and violence on the frontier. This is a solid entry in the Star Wars expanded universe and helps personalize Kenobi as a regular person with emotions and needs, not just a caretaker for stray Skywalkers of every generation. The new characters we meet along the way are fully developed and would be worthy of future stories on their own.
