This is really a story for teens- Dad wants to take the family on a vacation, no one wants to go, but especially not his teen son. When they get shipwrecked on a weird island that turns out to be waaaaay more than it appears, the family grows closer and a pet snake is brought back to life. And other things happen. Good for kids and teens.
