Midnight Angel by Lisa Kleypas

Midnight Angel by Lisa Kleypas - 373 pages

Tasia is on the run and needs a place to hide.  Luckily Lord Lucas Stokehurst agrees to hire her as his daughter's governess.  Both of them are broken individuals.  She's been convicted of a murder she doesn't even remember and he has been injured in the fire that killed his wife.  Together, they find comfort.  Then Tasia is captured by the murder victim's brother who is out for revenge.
I am making my way through all of Lisa Kleypas' historical romance books.  This was not one of the better ones.  Tasia is presented as the most saintly woman ever who forgives everyone who ever hurts her including the person who convicted her of murder without any proof.
