In this book, the characters come together from the first two books in Pfeffer's Last Survivors series, but, honestly, it wasn't great. Everything felt rushed and it didn't really move the story forward. The main characters went from tolerating to loving faster than was realistic, but maybe everything moves faster when the moon has moved dangerously close to the Earth. I just don't think this was Pfeffer's best work. Not sure I will read the fourth one when it comes out.
