Dad Is Fat by Jim Gaffigan, 288 p.
This series of essays about fatherhood and family life by "clean comedian" Jim Gaffigan is just hilarious. He touches on everything from playing at the park in New York City to traveling with his family (he has 5 kids, and no, he's not trying to "beat the Duggars") to being "Vice-President" of his family. This is just the type of parenting book that every parent (or non-parent, for that matter) needs to read -- irreverant, funny, and REAL. If you're a fan, or even if you're not familiar with him at all, this laugh-out-loud book is a great read.
