Joshua Gage has tracked down Beatrice Lockwood hoping to catch his sister's blackmailer and a murderer. However, as soon as he meets her he knows that she is not the culprit. Now they must work together to discover why someone is trying to kidnap Beatrice.
This is the second book in the Lantern Street series by Amanda Quick. The series tells the stories of agents for a psychical investigation service. While I did enjoy the book and look forward to reading the next in the series, I did not think it was as good as Quick's other books lately. The story seemed a bit rushed.
