The Look of Love by Mary Jane Clark, 384 pages. This is the second book in the Piper Donovan series in which Piper is a struggling actress that moves back home with her parents and works part time in her mother's cake decorating business. The first book in the series is To Have and To Kill. This books takes Piper to a spa that is owned by a friend of hers and where the murder mystery is set.
These are enjoyable easy read mysteries that I found to have very good story lines. If you enjoy Mary Higgins Clark's books then you will enjoy reading this author. I look forward to reading her next book on Piper which has just been released called Footprints in the Sand.
